Conceived in the tradition of Polish School of Poster design, this large scale painting offers no easy answers. It speaks with urgency, it witnesses, it calls out. But the essence of the message might differ, depending on hears it. Is the torch of freedom held up high victorious, despite being engulfed in flames? Or is it the last moment of liberty before it succumbs to the cataclysm.
The answer is in us: how will we understand what is happening around us? And most importantly: what will we choose to do about it?
